As flexographic design specialists, Midlands-based Qualiflex, has provided their clients with high quality products and services for over a decade.
Through their expert knowledge and regular collaboration with industry-leading printers, they consistently deliver high quality reprographics and printing plates that are specifically tailored to meet their clients requirements.
Qualiflex were looking to find an efficient water wash Flexo plate making solution, combining excellent plate quality with enhanced environmental benefits.
Their investment in a dual tank, easy to maintain, DigiWash 4835, in tandem with the AquaClean Pro Filtration System was therefore the perfect solution. The system offers fast plate making with enhance environmental benefits and produces plates with flat top dots and superior ink release, compared with other standard plate technologies.
The filtration system provides an effective circulation of waste water. Following plate processing, water containing polymer is transferred to a main filter and then through a second tank where finer particles are removed via a series of ceramic filters. The recycled clean water is then held in a third unit ready to be re-used in the plate process.
Qualiflex has benefitted from their dual investment in a number of key areas:
Simple to use operator interface
Dual tank for black mask and superior cleaning results
Pre and main exposure facility
Automatic replenishment and adjustable brush heights
Permanent sticky plate for fastening
Detack and post exposure sections
Enhanced plate making speed
Tank levels, water and dryer temperature monitoring
Easy to maintain
Excellent service, support & training
AquaClean Pro Filtration System
Closed loop water recycling
Waste polymer removal, including fine particles
No special waste collection for polymer disposal
Reduced water consumption
High quality pipework
Easy to use
“We wanted to be at the forefront of something new – water wash isn’t new, but what Dantex is offering certainly is. It was crucial for us to find a solution deemed better for the environment and we have seen it for ourselves – the plate quality and eco-friendly results are there.
“The process is also incredibly efficient, cutting down the plate making time from 3-4 hours to 1 hour from start to finish. What we have now is far more in-line with our offering and I’m excited to be working with Dantex.”
